Dancer’s Portfolio Session * Las Vegas Dance Headshot & Portfolio Photographer
Posted on November 13, 2010
Dance was one of the first arts that I fell in love with as a child. Meet Colby Massanari, an incredible Dancer who is aspiring to do amazing things with her talents. She has become a master at more types of dance styles than I can remember to list!

She needed to update her Dance Portfolio and Headshots, and they called upon me.

Dance is Colby’s life, she works diligently at it every day; and by the look of these images you can see that she LOVES what she does.

This is our favorite image. It was one of those shots that I didn’t love on the spot, but once in post processing I realized it was something grand.

It was actually hailing at one point during the shoot, and it got very cold. Despite all this, Colby continued to beautifully execute pose after pose after pose…

And two headshots of this gorgeous young lady:

Family Shoot at Floyd Lamb State Park * Las Vegas Custom Family Photography
Posted on November 1, 2010
First Impression with this family today…THOSE ADORABLE GIRLS IN THE TUTUS!!! Yes, yes, yes, love the tutu skirts! (and boots and tights!)
OK…and Mom and Dad look pretty awesome themselves. What a beautiful family.

LOVE all these sister shots…

This next image landed the honor of being the family’s huge enlargement to grace their home. It’s my favorite, too!

And here is the little spunker who didn’t want to sit still during that last family shot. But the way she stands next to her fam in that photo is just PERFECT in capturing her natural character! I had the honor of shooting her newborn session back when she had just met the world, as well as her Mama’s maternity shoot. I adore watching my little clients grow up!

While enjoying the grounds of Floyd Lamb Park, we wandered over to the lake so the girls could feed the ducks.

And so Mom & Dad could SMOOCH!

This couple is awesome.

Once again, I loved spending time with you guys and always consider it a joy to work with you! THANKS!

I very much enjoyed my latest family shoot with this stylish and sweet family of four. I’m digging how HAPPY these kiddos are grinning…makes me smile every time I see this!

This expression is just TOO CUTE!

Little Brother’s turn!

The two beautiful ladies

And a darling Daddy/Daughter Shot

Just love this view of her cute hair piggies! (The daughter of a hair stylist, no doubt!)

A shot for the KIDS…

and a shot for MOM & DAD!

These are going to make PERFECT Christmas cards this year!
Thanks for spending the afternoon with my camera and I. Can’t wait to do it again next time!

The Wedding of Fonsie & Malorie * Las Vegas Custom Wedding Photographer
Posted on October 20, 2010
The day started out with rain, but things cleared up just in time for Fonsie & Malorie’s much anticipated wedding! As always, I love to start out with the Bride…capturing images of her as she prepares for one of the biggest moments of her life!

Looking gorgeous…and ready to go!

I was completely enamored with this stunning little flower girl. Not only because she was beautiful, but also because she loved to let me photograph her!

The Ring Bearer was just as adorable, however he did NOT think it was fun to be photographed. In fact, I don’t think he liked it at all!

But this guy was all GRINS today…for good reason!

I loved the ambient light glowing from the candle torches lining the aisle, it was a nice touch to the ceremony.

The Newlyweds!

Surrounded by loving and supportive friends, who happen to have a playfully goofy streak!

Some shots of their reception…

The guests were treated to this fun candy bar. Love the PINK!

Just got a new fisheye lens and I was quite amused here while testing it out.

Congratulations Fonsie & Malorie!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Massanari * Las Vegas Wedding Photography
Posted on October 15, 2010
Joey & Lindsey’s ENGAGEMENT SHOOT earlier this year was such a blast to photograph…but of course nothing could compare to their actual wedding day!!! So far we’ve seen THE BRIDE and THE GROOM…now how about the two of them TOGETHER, as well as some highlight images from throughout the rest of their day!?
Lindsey wanted portraits of her and Joey together while we still had daylight, so she planned a special time when she and Joey would see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Here is Mr. Groom, spotting his gorgeous Bride as she stunningly strolls into his arms!

Ahhhhh….love

You can see how happy they are!

Ready to say “I do”

Love this shot of the group

The ceremony was beautiful. They married at CORNERSTONE church, same as my hubby and I 12 years ago! (we had a purple and green wedding as well, yay!)

Joey sang two songs to Lindsey

The new Mr. & Mrs. Massanari!
And a few images from the reception…I love this one of Joey and Lindsey during their first dance

Their impressive cake

The guests waved sparklers under the moonlight as the Newlyweds made their grand exit.

CONGRATULATIONS Joey & Lindsey! It was an honor to capture all the events and details of your amazing wedding day. God bless your marriage ==Leah==

Groom Joey * Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

We’ve seen THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE, now it is time to show who the lucky guy is…

And he is QUITE the catch himself! I’ve known Joey since we were kids (well, he was a baby!), he’s been a long time friend and I am so extremely happy for him!

I love this casual shot of Joey and his crew

Look at these Ring Bearers, such handsome “mini men”!

What a sharp group!
Joey and the Dads…Father of the Groom and Father of the Bride

Are we done with pictures yet? Is Lindsey ready?

YES…it’s time for the Revealing of the Bride…in the next post!!! ==Leah==

Bride Lindsey * Las Vegas Wedding & Bridal Photographer
Posted on October 5, 2010
SNEAK PEEK! There are a few images already floating around Facebook, and here is another first look at some of the work from Joey & Lindsey Massanari’s wedding!
Let’s start from the beginning…this post will be all about Lindsey getting ready, from head to toe, for her fairy tale day…
Cheers! I had the bridesmaids all grab a prop and “pose a toast” to the Bride before slipping into their dresses. Having some fun with your closest girlfriends is an important part of getting ready for a wedding!

I love every detail that goes into a wedding, from the perfect gown…

to the perfect heels & clutch…

to the perfect earrings.

Know one of the many reasons why a Bride needs her Bridesmaids? To help her get into that dress!

Once Lindsey’s incredible dress was all laced up, she sat down so that her Mother and Sister could take care of the veil. You should have heard the oohs and aahs coming from the Bridesmaids….it was so sweet.

Almost done…time for the garter.

And now the Bride is ready for her Groom!

One of my favorite things about photographing a wedding is being there as the Bride gets ready; it is such a special part of the story! Thank-you Lindsey, for inviting me to preserve these moments for you. And to the Moms and all the Bridesmaids, you were awesome!
Of course this is just a short teaser for all that is to come. I’ll share a few more peeks before your gallery is ready. For those who want to know when they can see more, you can follow me on FACEBOOK and TWITTER. Stay tuned! ==Leah==

My daughter Desiree was so comfortable doing the shoot with Leah. Leah was very professional and kept everything fun at the same time. We cannot wait to work with her again VERY soon! <3
